History, a Winding Road through Time

Architectural zigzags
cut through the softness
of an early morning sky.
I stop and turn and watch history
as it slips by.
Towering glass monuments,
beautiful shadows across the bay,
replace the stones of the past,
the memories of another day.

  1. Your post might be the most beautiful I’ve seen for this challenge.
“I stop and turn and watch history
as it slips by.” That line…gave me goosebumps.
