Daily Prompt: Grab the nearest book. Open it and go to the tenth word. Do a Google Image Search of the word. Write about what the image brings to mind.

Arrows pointing
Left, right, north, south,
Which way is up
And which way to go?
I see question marks
In all corners.
Someone is lost.
A map holds no answers –
Just a red x in its middle –
And the street signs point in every direction.
Where are we now? It asks,
Where have we come from
And where are we going?
What is it about this one little word
That creates such emptiness,
Such disconnect?
A man walks alone in the desert
Layers of sand encircling him –
Where is he?
A tormented painting appears,
Crying, “O Grave, Where is thy Victory?”
A road leads into the misty mountains
Where does it go?
And where is Waldo?
