Fog at Dawn

The Fog hangs heavy
Covering and hiding
Roofs and building tops
It shifts and floats
Changing the shape of the city
Drifting silently
An ever-moving blanket of white
Separating here from there
Then rolling out again
In thick undulating waves
Leaving water droplets to drip slowly
Along leaves and branches
